Font here

Open the template. Duplicate and close the original file.

Make a gradient with two colors from the tube or kit:

Foreground: #000000

Background: #808080

Angle: 90

Repeats: 60

Invert: Unchecked

Style: linear

Always active the default gradient from psp:

and then select the colors.

Activate the layer: background.

Floodfill with the grandient.

Effects - Reflection Effects -  Feedback:

Effects - Distortion Effects -  Displacement map:

(factory defaults settings)

**Look to the bottom for colorize setting and tips. (=

Open the tube, c/p in the canvas, resize if needed.

Place it in the left side of the banner.

Duplicate, apply gaussian blur: radius by: 3 pixels.

In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Screen. Low the opacity to: 70.

Select the original tube layer.

Add drop shadow:

V: 0 H: 4

O: 70 B: 7

Activate the layer: Arrow

Effects - Plugins - Eyecandy 4000 - Chrome

Colorize to black and white or a color of your choice.

Add your name and copyright. Change the frame if you want.

To animate:

Copy merged the whole banner. Open Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation. Duplicate until you have 33 frames.

Activate the first frame and select all.

Open: AnimatedWordart by Gaby 001.mng. Delete the first layer.

* Look the speed of the frame. If you want a good effect apply the same speed in your banner.

Select all the frames and drag it to your first animation. Place the wordart above the metal arrow.

Change the speed to the original wordart file or your choice.

Play the animation. If you like save and you're done.

I added and extra animation to my final result.

TIPS

Making a darker gradient may not be suitable for tube with soft colors.

Select the default gradient:

Foreground: #808080

Background: #ffffff

Angle: 90

Repeats: 60

Invert: Unchecked

Style: linear

With the effects applied, you get this:

Instead of this:

Now it's more easy to color. I'm going to use a gradient in soft colors:

Add a new layer and flood fill with the gradient. In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Color.

Another example with a soft color gradient:

Add a new layer and floodfill with the gradient. In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Color (legacy).

Now if we want to add a multicolored gradient base in normal or vibrant colors. We can use the first base (darker)

I'm going to use this gradient:

Add a new layer and floodfill with the gradient. In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Color.

But I think it's too dark I want it a little more clear and shining. Select the darker base.

Adjust - Brightness and Contrast:

Brightness: 43

Contrast: 15

My result.

Now looks better!

Ok, I think this cover a good part of the basic technique, you can always use the settings you like.

Zombie Love

Supplies Needed:

Tube of choice. I have used a tube by Lidia Misfit, you can find the tube: here

Scrap kit (PTU) Zombie Heart by Tragic Scraps: here

Eyecandy 4000

Font here

Open a new image: 650x650.

Open: Frame 5. c/p in the canvas, resize at 80 percent (smart size)

Image - Mirror.

With the freehand selection, make a selection around the frame.

Like this:

Open: paper22. c/p in the canvas.

Effects - Plugins - Eyecandy 4000 - Marble:

Selections - invert.

Remove the excess of the paper. Invert the selection, again.

Open: Blood Curtain. c/p in the canvas, place it in the top of the frame.

selections - Invert. Edit - Clear. Deselect. (don't apply shadow)

Open the tube, c/p in the canvas, resize if needed. Place it in the right side of the frame.

Duplicate, apply gaussian blur: radius by: 3 pixels.

In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Overlay. Low the opacity to: 80.

Select the original tube layer. 

Add drop shadow:

V: -2 H: -7

O: 70 B: 6

Select the frame layer.

Open: Word Art 2. c/p in the canvas, resize at 70 percent (smart size).

Place it to the top right of the frame. Duplicate the layer.

In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Soft Light.

Open: lillies. c/p in the canvas.

Image - Free rotate:

Left - 60 degrees

Place it at the bottom of the frame.

Open: black roses. resize at 70 percent (smart size). 

Place it above but a lil far from the lillies.

Add more elements the tag:

Book, Candle, & Rose

Gem 3

Goblet

Hourglass

Always: Resize, sharpen and place as desire. 

Add drop shadow:

V: -1 H: 2

O: 50 B: 5

Add copyright and your name. Merge Visible, copy and paste as new image. Export as a png or jpg.

To animate:

Add a layer, flood fill with white, send the layer to the bottom.

Activate the layer: blood curtain.

Effects - Distortion Effects - Wave

Apply shadow:

V: -1 H: 2

O: 50 B: 5

Copy Merged. Open Animation Shop. Paste as a new animation. 

back to psp. Edit - undo. Apply the wave effect again, but change:

Amplitude to 2 

from the vertical displacement.

Add shadow.

Copy merged, paste after current frame.  

Repeat one more time, but change:

Amplitude to 1

from the vertical displacement.

Copy merged, paste after current frame. 

Select the second frame, copy, activate the last frame, paste after current frame.

Copy the first frame, copy, activate the last frame, paste after current frame.

Change the speed if you want. Save and you're done. (=

Open a new image: 650x650.

Open: sb_pmt_fairy-freak-frame 5. c/p in the canvas, resize at 70 percent (smart size)

Image - Free Rotate:

Left  - 15 degrees

Arrange it in the canvas, almost in the center. 

With the magic wand click inside of the first top circle cricle.

Selections - Modify - Expand by: 5 pixels

Open the paper: sb_pmt_fairy-freak-pp15. c/p in the canvas, move the layer below the frame.

Selections - Invert. Edit - Clear. Deselect

Do the same for the others frames.

Center Frame: paper - sb_pmt_fairy-freak-pp13

Last frame: paper - sb_pmt_fairy-freak-pp14

Merge the three paper layers. Selections all - Float - Defloat.

Duplicate the paper layer.

Effects - Texture effects - Soft Plastic:

Do not deselect. Open the closeup of the tube, c/p in the canvas.

Place it above the papers, selections - invert. Remove the excess.

Deselect.

Activate the closeup layer, change the blend mode to Overlay. Low the opacity: 70.

Duplicate and change the blend mode to: Screen. Don't change the opacity. Merge down the layers.

Open the main tube, c/p in the canvas. Resize if needed. Place it next to right side of the frame. 

Duplicate the layer. 

Effects - Plugins - Xero - Porcelain:

Adjust - Blur - Gasussian Blur:

Radius: 3

In the layer palette change the blend mode to: Screen. Low the opacity to: 60.

Select the original tube layer and add drop shadow:

V: 2 H: 3

O: 55 B: 7

Open: sb_pmt_fairy-freak-flower 4. c/p in the canvas, resize at 90 percent (smart size).

Move it below the tube.

Open: sb_pmt_fairy-freak-flower 3. c/p in the canvas, resize at 80 percent (smart size).

Place it above the first flower.

Open: sb_pmt_fairy-freak-greenery 3. c/p in the canvas, resize at 60 percent (smart size). 2 times.

Place it above the center frame.

Add this elements at the end of the tube:

Open a new image: 650x650.

floodfill with a color from your tube: #a74cec.

Apply the mask: gemsmasks-144. Merge group. 

Open: BIBI EMOMEOW ELEM (37). c/p in the canvas, resize 70 percent (smart size).

Place it in the center. 

Select the ellipse tool, foreground: none background: white (create as a vector)

make a ellipse around the paws frame, move it below the frame:

convert to raster layer. Selections - All - Float - Defloat.

Open paper: BIBI EMO MEOW PAPERS (11). c/p in the canvas, colorize to match your tube. 

Colorize:

Hue: 195

Saturation: 140

Duplicate and in the layer palette, change the blend mode to Multiply.

Select the original paper layer.

Effects - Plugins - Xenofex 2 - Constellation:

Deselect. delete the original circle layer.

Select the paws frame. 

Effects - Plugins - Eyecandy 4000 - Gradient Glow:

Open the tube. c/p in the canvas, resize if needed. Place it in the right side of the tag.

Duplicate, apply gaussian blur: radius by: 2 pixels.

In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Overlay. Low the opacity to: 75.

Select the original tube layer

Add drop shadow:

V: 2 H: -5

O: 45 B: 7

Open: BIBI EMOMEOW ELEM (5). c/p in the canvas, place it at the bottom of the tube.

Open: BIBI EMOMEOW ELEM (51). c/p in the canvas, resize and place it at the start of the wordart.

Open: BIBI EMOMEOW ELEM (8). c/p in the canvas, resize, rotate 15 to left and place it above the kitty.

Open: BIBI EMOMEOW ELEM (25). c/p in the canvas, resize, place it above the kitty.

Open the cluster. Duplicate the file and close the original.

Resize to 650 of width and crop if you want.

with the lasso tool make a selection around the two frames:

Selections - Modify - Expand by: 2 pixels

Make a gradient with two colors that match your tube. my choice:

Foreground: #ecb423

Background: #fff99f

Angle: 0

Repeats: 2

Style: linear

Invert: uncheked

Add a new layer, floodfill with the gradient. move it below the frame

Duplcate the layer and activate the copy.

Effects - Plugins - Dsb flux - Bubbles:

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds:

Activate the original gradient layer:

Effects - Plugins - Dsb flux - Bright Noise:

Do not deselect. Open the close up of the tube, c/p in the canvas, resize if needed.

Place it either in the left or right frame. Selections - Invert. Edit - Clear.

Duplicate the layer. Adjust - Blur - Gaussian Blur:

Radius: 2 

In the layer palette, change the blend mode to: Soft Light.

Effects - Texture Effects - Blinds:

Select the original tube layer and Add drop shadow:

V: 1 H: -3

O: 35 B: 5

Add a new layer, floodfill with the gradient. 

Apply the mask: Gemsmask56. Merge group. 

Send to the bottom. Duplicate the layer. Resize (the copy) 80 percent - Smart Size.

Activate the original mask layer. Apply Bright Noise. (same settings used)

Open the wordart, c/p in the canvas, place it where you like it.

Add drop shadow:

V: 1 H: 2

O: 35 B: 3

Add copyright and your name. Merge Visible, copy and paste as new image. Export as a png or jpg.

Open a new image: 650x650.

Open the paper: 3LH12 - Dancer Paper 7. Go to the materials - pattern and select the paper.

Flood fill the layer with the paper. 

Apply the mask: Gemsmask8. Merge group. 

Open: 3LH12 - Dancer glitter frame. c/p in the canvas, Resize at 90 percent (smart size).

With the magic wand click inside of the frame, Selections - Modify - Expand by: 5  pixels.

Add a new layer, move it below the frame.

Open the paper: 3LH12 - Dancer Paper 18. Go to the materials - pattern and select the paper.

Flood fill the layer with the paper. Deselect.

Open: 3LH12 - Dancer flower 8. c/p in the canvas, Resize at 50 percent (smart size).

Image - Free Rotate:

Right - 27 degrees

Place it in the top right side of the frame. Duplicate, Image - Mirror. Image - Flip.

Open: 3LH12 - Dancer table. c/p in the canvas, Resize at 50 percent (smart size).

Place it in the bottom center.

Open: 3LH12 - Dancer snow globe. c/p in the canvas, Resize at 50 percent (smart size). 2x.

Place it above the table.

Open: 3LH12 - Dancer violin. c/p in the canvas, Resize at 70 percent (smart size).

Place it next to the table.
